Roller Shades
Custom roller shades in any fabric — from view-preserving solar screens that cut Texas glare to sealed-edge blackout for bedrooms and media rooms. Cordless, chain, or motor-ready.
About Roller Shades
Roller shades are the workhorses of the catalog. One band of fabric, a clean roll, and a look that suits about any room. The decision that matters is the fabric, and that's where solar shades come in.
Solar screens and openness factor
A solar shade is a roller woven tight enough to block UV and glare while you keep the view. The weave is rated by openness: a 3% fabric holds more of the view and lets in a little more light, a 1% cuts glare harder and gives you more privacy. South and west windows taking the Texas afternoon usually want the tighter weave. We bring samples and hold them against your actual glare.
From sheer to full blackout
Not every window wants a view. For bedrooms and media rooms we run light-filtering or blackout fabrics, and we can add side channels that seal the edges so light doesn't leak around the band. Same clean roller, very different job.
Where we install
Our showroom sits on McCullough Ave in San Antonio, and we cover the Hill Country around it. Solar shades go up all over the area, from sun-blasted lake houses near Canyon Lake to new builds in Cibolo and Schertz. If you're near San Antonio, we can help.
Cordless, chain, or motorized
Most roller shades today run cordless or on a low-profile chain, and any of them can be motorized later. We set the lift to match the window and who's using it, with cordless on anything within a child's reach.
